To improve knowledge of wildlife health, we have established ARTEMIS: Research Institute for Wildlife Health in Europe. The main objective of ARTEMIS is to perform high-level research on wildlife health, centered on Europe. In this way, we will rapidly be able to have a more balanced understanding of health problems in humans, domestic animals, and wildlife and their interrelation, and be able to deal with these problems more effectively.
